We often overlook the importance of a well-decorated entryway. Busy lives have us rushing in and out without taking the time to enjoy the stylish introduction to our home. Your entryway is the first and last thing people see when they come to your home, and the team at Deja Blue Home Staging & Design has some stylish ideas to make yours stand out from the rest.
Comfortable Seating
Although you may not spend much time in your entryway, most people like the opportunity to sit while putting their shoes on or removing them; this is especially true if you have young children. Using a bench that opens for storage will help you keep clutter to a minimum. If you have elderly family members visiting, consider seating with a back for comfort.
Console Table
It can be challenging to decide what goes in an entryway. You want it to be accessible and convenient but not crowded. A console table adds structure and creates a dropoff point for mail, keys, and other essentials. Use your table as a focal point since you may not have other large pieces of furniture in this area.
